This role will be a part of the ITT Industrial Process (IP) IT Leadership Team and is accountable for all IT services in performance of our approximately 8 locations in within Europe and the Middle East, primarily consisting of manufacturing, engineering, customer service, aftermarket (ProShop) services and sales functions. A successful leader will lead the development and execution of the IP IT strategy for the region, in conjunction with their peers and corporate services delivery partners. In this role, this person will assess, plan, and implement processes and technology in line with our business functions to drive top line growth and bottom-line efficiencies.
As part of the IP IT leadership team, you will provide hands on leadership in executing our most important projects, both strategic and custodial. These efforts will vary in subject matter area across the information technology, operational technology, and cyber-security realms. The leader in this role will need to be able to flex their style and approach as differing efforts will require varying levels of involvement. A large component of this role consists of assessing, modernizing, rationalizing, and consolidating ERP platforms and business system across the region and in alignment with the IP and overall ITT IT strategy. This leader will collaborate with business leaders to leverage innovation and technology to enable business outcomes. This person will align and enable IT services, service levels, technology, and business process enablement initiatives with the business strategies and needs, representing business goals in all enterprise and IP initiatives. This IT leader will act as the business relationship manager for the sites under their supervision, advocating for the delivery of high-quality IT services, reducing cost, enabling efficiencies, and maximizing business goals.
The person in this role will facilitate, lead, and execute the activities necessary to operate, maintain and continually improve various subject matter areas including but not limited to disaster recovery, IT business continuity, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) General Computing Controls (GCCs) and NIST 800-171 based compliance as well as other audit or assessment related programs and governance activities as appropriate.
Lastly, and most importantly, this person will lead a team of IT professionals who are responsible for delivering IT services (operations and projects), both in conjunction with corporate infrastructure services, information security, enterprise application teams, and program management groups to manage the portfolio. Under your leadership you will be expected to work with your employees to identify opportunities for growth and development, establish goals and development plans, address performance issues and ensure that you have the proper breadth and depth of staffing to effectively provide IT services to the organization in an effective and efficient manner. In this capacity, you will be expected to create the future of IT’s service delivery approaches and practices while you develop, grow and challenge these personnel to become the future leaders of ITT beyond their current set of responsibilities.
