Creating and implementing a health and safety strategy in accordance with the applicable legal status and company requirements

Taking action to ensure that legally defined standards in the area of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection are implemented within the Company.

1. Management of the safety status in the Axtone Poland sites (Kanczuga and Stalowa Wola) and control of working conditions and compliance with regulations and procedures in the field of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection
2. Assessment of the circumstances and causes of accidents at work and occupational diseases with the objective to prevent accidents and their possible severity
3. Continuous improvement and monitoring of working conditions and compliance with health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection regulations and principles
4. Initiating and implementing tasks aimed at continuously improving the safety culture among employee
5. Responsibility for Recommending and implementing efficient and functioning safety management systems in Axtone Poland sites, initiating new solutions aimed at continuous improvement of work safety and minimization of occupational risk (after its proper assessment)
6. Responsibility for the risk assessment process, individual and collective protection at work stations               
7. Development of employee awareness regarding safety issues
8. Responsibility for preventive, record-keeping and corrective actions resulting from applicable law and internal regulations of the organization
9. Conducting safety audits within the company and representing the company during external audits and inspections
10. Initiating and coordinating projects to improve emissions’ quality
11. Ensuring and organizing the provision of training on ESH topics to all staff
12. Management of air pollution emissions, waste management, water and sewage management in the Company
13. Authorization to update legal acts/standards in individual organizational units
14. Managing the work of a subordinate team in Axtone Poland sites
15. Supervision over the documentation and budget of the Occupational Health and Safety Department
16. Reviewing assumptions and documentation, support the definition of standards, procedures, installations related to EHS on newly constructed, reconstructed buildings or existing buildings subject of re-modernization of work spaces
17. Updating externally supervised documents
18. Preparation and presentation of periodic analyses of the state of occupational health and safety, fire safety and environmental protection in the Company
19. Reporting in accordance with the applicable structure (Axtone Group and ITT)              

1. At least 5 years of experience in the field of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection (at least 3 years in team management)

2. Higher education, postgraduate studies in the field of occupational health and safety

3. Certificates confirming completion of courses and periodic training for occupational health and safety services

4. Knowledge of English at C1 level

5. Ability to work in the Integrated Management System

6. International certificates confirming knowledge of the latest trends in occupational health and safety Participation in IOSH industry chambers are welcome

7. Knowledge of a security management system, e.g. GENSUITE knowledge of management systems, e.g. ISO 18001
