  • Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts. 
  • Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

 

Podsumowanie pozycji

We are looking for a dynamic and well-organized individual to join our procurement team as an Indirect Buyer in the railway industry. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in sourcing non-production goods and services such as MRO, CAPEX, IT, marketing, office supplies, PPE, facility management, and construction investments.

This role requires a self-motivated professional with strong negotiation skills, cost-conscious thinking, and the ability to manage procurement documentation efficiently. The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced, regulated, and responsible environment.

Podstawowe obowiązki

  • Execute indirect procurement in line with company policies (e.g., MRO, CAPEX, services, utilities, fixed assets)
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., administration, IT, maintenance) to identify purchasing needs
  • Source and qualify new suppliers
  • Lead commercial negotiations and establish supplier agreements
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including those subject to internal or public procurement regulations
  • Track order fulfillment and ensure timely deliveries
  • Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization
  • Support budgeting processes and prepare procurement reports

Wymagania dotyczące pozycji

  • University degree (preferably in logistics, management, technical, or economic fields)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a technical, industrial, or transportation setting
  • Proven knowledge of indirect procurement processes
  • Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) for supplier communication
  • Experience with public procurement procedures or corporate purchasing standards is an advantage
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives is preferred
