For our Railway business we are looking for a Sales Director Railway.

Podstawowe obowiązki

The role

In this role you are responsible for defining an international commercial strategy for the KONI Railway business. You lead top line profitable growth in both OE and Aftermarket business by reviewing the customer portfolio coverage strategy and countries of business - coming up with a strategic plan on how the business should be developed and where the most potential is. You are budget responsible and a team manager, part of LT KONI Group reporting to the General Manager KONI.

  • Maintaining and building relationships with our Railway customers
  • Managing/ coaching the global Railway sales team ( approx. 10fte)
  • Deploy a disciplined execution of Value Based Selling
  • Optimize sales support and lead the disciplined use of SBO to ensure maximum visibility of opportunities
  • Perform and initiate market research and collect and interpret market data in order to provide the sales and managerial direction in a practical sense and to advice in determining the short and long term strategy for Railway
  • Identifying changing market conditions drafting proposals how the company can adequately anticipate the identified market trends (commercial and technical)
  • Budget responsible for the results of the sales team ( sales volume and order intake)
  • Reporting on achievements and forecasting ( monthly)
  • Working together with several disciplines within KONI teams, direct interaction with dedicated manufacturing plants
  • Coordination with other regional sales teams (China, US)
  • Instill in the organization a customer centric mindset with the focus on speed in actions and service

 

Wymagania dotyczące pozycji

Your profile

You have a Master or bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in a global Sales Directors role. Preferably knowledge of the train market.
